Courses for Instructors and Assessors

The Makarov Training Centre has been providing training for simulator centre instructors since 1999. All programs are delivered by experienced specialists who received training at leading international educational institutions on programmes ‘Training for Instructors’ (6.09) at Warsash Maritime Academy (Warsash, Southampton, UK.) and ‘Training Course for Simulator Training and Assessment’ (6.10) at World Maritime University (Malmö, Sweden). Theoretical classes and practical trainings are conducted using up-to-date training facilities and simulators.

• Train the trainer (in accordance with IMO model course 6.09 Training course for instructors)
• Train the simulator trainer and assessor (in accordance with IMO model course 6.10 Train the simulator trainer and assessor)
• Train the trainer, train the simulator trainer and assessor (in accordance with IMO model courses 6.09 and 6.10)
• Training for instructors of simulator centre on Professional Development programmes (simulator based training)
