Inland Shipping PDP Training Centre

Courses delivered by the Centre are targeted at training and skills advancement of seafaring and onshore personnel supporting normal operation of inland waterways. The Centre has developed and implemented over 30 training programmes, including navigational safety, operational use of radar stations for inland waterways, evaluation of shipboard engineering and electrical equipment, professional development for hydraulic engineers, shipbuilders and ship repairing specialists, advanced training for captains and port control officers of inland waterways basins.

Annually the Centre trains more than a thousand people.
