STCW mandatory training courses for Masters and Mates of sea-going ships, as well as professional development and certificate revalidation short courses are delivered by Deck Officers PDP Training Centre

Training of ISM Code designated persons and specialists responsible for navigation safety, seaport captains, heads of seaport administrations, assessors of maritime educational institutions and seaport certification departments is conducted on a year-round basis.

The Centre provides 17 training programmes. For three of them the participants can select traditional full-time intramural format or e-learning from home or on-board ship using distance learning technologies. Visit to the Centre in St. Petersburg or to one of its branch offices in Arkhangelsk and Murmansk is required only for final assessment.

Training of assessors is conducted at the Centre or during the trainers visits to other cities.

TEACHING AND TRAINING IN THE CENTER IS CONDUCTED IN RUSSIAN.
